Happy Fall everyone! Be sure to read the Letter from the President and the Member Spotlight. Enjoy the recaps on the charity golf outing and the membership drive. There are also quite a few upcoming events in October and even a half day seminar in December. Make sure to catch up on the activity in our region with a review of the Basin Brief and see what the WVU EELM program has been doing this semester. Stay tuned for new corporate sponsorship levels for 2025 in the December edition of The Wildcatter.

This is our annual changing of the guard edition. We look forward to the leadership of the 2024-2025 Executive Committee and wish MLBC President, John Catsonis all the best as he leads our organization. Inside the edition is a letter from our new MLBC President as well as pictures from our annual awards and officer induction. The evening was a great success as we handed out scholarships to college students and awarded our big awards to members of the MLBC and to sponsoring organizations. You won't want to miss this recap! Other features are recaps on the Spring Clay Shoot, Summer Social and a great article and pictures from our Regional Director, Jeremy White, from the AAPL Annual Meeting and Quarterly Board Meeting. We also look forward with information on a membership event this month and our Fall Charity Golf Outing and Veterans Charity Clay Shoot. Our standard features (Legislative/Regulatory, Basin Brief and Member Spotlight) are also good to check out. We also did our best to pay our respect to Jud Byrd, a former MLBC President and fervent supporter of our organization and our industry. Jud passed away in late June and we wanted to honor his memory by including some photos of him from our past events.
